WCOG is committed to adhering to the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which ensures that no person shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise discriminated against under any federally funded program or activity, whether on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA)
The Whatcom Council of Governments (WCOG) will ensure that no qualified disabled individual shall, solely on the basis of his or her disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any of its programs, services, or activities as provided by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). WCOG further ensures that every effort will be made to provide nondiscrimination in all of its programs and activities regardless of the funding source.
